The thundering grew harsher while
the land gave way.
Soil cracked open and for death made
way.
The might of the clouds, destruction was hell-bent.
The weakest of hearts were but
heaven sent.
Turmoil took over and darkness
swallowed the land,
Weak heats searched for shelter in otherwise
barren sand.
Struck not just by lightening but
the indifference they showed
To the sun. And the warmth of the
days they ignored.
The weaker they grew the stronger
was the storm.
For these hearts saw no light or
even hope of a day that’s warm.
But that’s what happens when you
keep your heart in the dark too long.
It succumbs to its weakness and
thinks it can never be strong.
Teach your heart to believe that there’s
sunshine after the rain
And that with every storm that comes
its way, there’s joy after the pain.
